To the Duke Family...I am a "better woman and Religious" because of Nettie and John! Two valiant souls who witnessed what it is to love. Thanks for sharing them and for the wonderful memories! You each have BIG shoes to fill.

To the dear family of Ann Duke:

John and Ann were true supporters of all who were lead by them in the Diaconate Formation Program. What an opportunity to be influenced by two people who had no guile, but only love for those they lead.

We so appreciated Ann's wisdom, kindness, grace, and strength.

I have lost a dear friend who witnessed consistently what it meant to love unconditionally! She was a wonderful wife, mother, friend and Christian. I'm blessed to have known Nettie and John and have happy memories of this friendship. I know there isn't a more joyful soul in Heaven than John Duke to have Nettie back with him.
