Patrick Theodore McAdoo

of Conway, AR

June 4, 1959 - July 22, 2015

Patrick Theodore McAdoo passed away at 56 years of age on July 22, 2015 in Little Rock, Arkansas at St. Vincent Hospital Hospice Care following a lengthy illness. Pat was born on June 4, 1959 in Eldorado, Arkansas to his parents, Betty Williams McAdoo and the late Leon McAdoo. He graduated from Conway High School in 1977 and worked in the construction business. Pat was raised in the Needs Creek Baptist Church and made a personal profession of faith in Jesus Christ.
Pat is survived by his mother, Betty McAdoo; his brother, Michael Leon McAdoo; his niece, Michelle McAdoo Vassallo; and his great-niece, Emily Vassallo. Pat also had a special place in his heart and life for his uncle and aunt, Bob and Mae Ellen Williams. Pat was preceded in death by his father, Leon McAdoo; and his grandparents, Thomas Theodore ''Ted'' and Grace Williams.
Pat loved his mother, Betty, more than anyone else on Earth, and she adored him. His grandparents, the late Ted and Grace Williams, helped raise Pat and loved and prayed for him throughout their lives. Pat was named for his Pappaw Ted and loved him and his Mammaw Grace very much.
Pat had a brilliant mind and never wanted or intended to hurt a soul. He lived his life the best way he could and will be remembered with love by his family and friends.
A memorial service was held on July 27th at the Needs Creek Baptist Church with Brother Ed Stephenson, Pastor of Springhill Baptist Church, officiating. Burial was in the Needs Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
A very special thank you from Pat's family to Brother Don Chandler and the members of Central Baptist Church in Conway and to the St. Vincent Hospital and Hospice staff for their love, prayers and care for Pat during his illness.

I am so sorry to see that Pat has passed away. I have such great memories of growing up next door to the McAdoos in Smackover. Pat, Mike, and I were constant companions as kids. He called me 3 or 4 years ago, and I'm so glad we had that chance to reconnect after so many years. My sincere condolences to you all.
