Gay Lorraine Lourdeau, age 83, of Harrison, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, June 09, 2015, at her residence. She was born Saturday, January 30, 1932, in Amboy, Illinois, the daughter of Herbert and Wilda (Trickett) Harrowell. She was raised by her mother and step-father, Dewey Gray. She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Richard Lourdeau; and a brother, James Gray.

Lorraine married Leyland Richard Lourdeau December 9, 1950, in Dixon, Illinois, and they celebrated almost 65 years together. She was a nurse's aide, school photographer, a Century 21 realtor, and was the owner/operator of Radio Plus Electronics in Lodi, California. Her CB handle was Little Lulu. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, reading and doing crossword and cryptogram puzzles and was a past member of many quilting organizations.

Mrs. Lourdeau is survived by her husband Lee; three daughters and sons-in-law: Kathy and Ron Miller, Gaye and Thomas Litz, and Nancy and John Painter; six grandchildren: Geno Henricksen, Stephanie Tesh, Joseph Stacher, Kristofer Stacher, Candace Scott, and Kevin Martins; fourteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; two sisters: Sallie Traxler and Donna Corley; two brothers, Dean Gray and Bob Gray; and a host of nieces and nephews.


Memorial service was Monday, June 15, 2015, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home, with Pastor Dennis Selvidge and Pastor George Lynn officiating.
