Mr. R.V. Tidwell, 73 of Jonesboro passed away Sunday at his home. He was born August 5, 1941 to Henry and Odell Wallace Tidwell in Craighead County. Mr. Tidwell was retired from Anheuser Busch and worked for Riceland Foods after High School. He is of the Pentecostal faith. Mr. Tidwell enjoyed working on automobiles and watching car racing. In his early years he loved to hunt and race cars. He was a graduate of Jonesboro High School. R.V. was the one you could count on and he would drop what he was doing to help anyone.

He is preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother Henry Earl Tidwell and 1 sister Betty Gibson.

Survivors include: two daughters Kimberly (Clay) Inboden of Bono, Christi (Jimmy) Bales of Jonesboro; two grandchildren Brad Tidwell of Bono and Ethan Bales of Jonesboro, one great grandchild Audrina Tidwell of Bono; two brothers Sid Tidwell of Bono, Wayne Tidwell of Jonesboro and a special caregiver Lynn Price.

Funeral service will be Thursday May, 28 at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home at 1:00 PM. Visitation will be at 12 noon until time of service with Pastor Kenneth O'Connell officiating . Burial will be at Old Enterprise.

Pallbearers will be Scotty Tidwell, Steve Tidwell, Perry Joe Tidwell, Larry Burcham, Michael Lindley, Mitchell Lindley and Jeremy Lindley. Honorary pallbearers will be Randy Tidwell, Larry Lindley and Dub Johnson.

In memory of Mr. Tidwell memorials can be made to the NEA Humane Society.
