Ruthie Burtch Hippensteel, 66, of Benton, passed away May 23, 2015 in Little Rock. She was born on May 3, 1949 to the late Charlie Burtch and Elaine Burtch Wagner in Valentine, NE. Ruthie was a member of Community Park Church, a former administrative assistant at Angie Grant Elementary School in Benton and a member of PEO.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Orvil Arthur Burtch.
Survivors include her husband, Dwayne Hippensteel of the home; one son, Scott Alan Terry of Benton; one daughter, Stephanie Terry Jarratt of Memphis, TN; six grandchildren, Caleb Terry, Alex Terry, Will Jarratt, Jack Jarratt, Max Hippensteel and Sam Hippensteel; two sisters Charlene Ernst of Weatherford, TX and Patsy Cornelius of Ft. Smith, AR and many other family and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held Monday, May 25, 2015 at 10:30 A.M. at the Community Park Church in Alexander with Pastor Wayne Putman officiating.

Ruthie had a wonderful attitude and was a beacon of hope for cancer patients. I so enjoyed visiting with her at UAMS.
She loved you both so much and was so proud of you both. She will be missed.
