My memories of Bro. Amon go back to my years as a teenager attending Camp Formosa where he served on the camp board with Bro. Bennett and Bro. Barnes. In years following, I remember his involvement in the association and presbytery. He was an encouragement to me and other upcoming preacher boys. His long life as a faithful servant has been an encouragement to many along the way. I am sure it was a joyous celebration as he stepped into the presence of the Lord he loved and served, and to finally be reunited with his wife of many years. Our prayers are with the family,
