Carl M. Glover Sr, age 85, of Benton, passed away Friday, April 10, 2015. He was born October 31, 1929 in North Little Rock to the late Carl and Pauline (Morgan) Glover.
Mr. Glover was a United States Air Force Veteran and was a retired industrial engineer for Alcoa. He was a lifetime member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Benton, the US Civil Air Patrol, and National Sporting Clay Association. He had his pilot's license and enjoyed flying. He also loved playing golf, hunting, fishing, and competitive shooting.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Jeanne Huhman Glover, one granddaughter, Emily Jean Pickels, and daughter-in-law, Alice Tudor Glover.
He is survived by his four children, Carl Glover Jr. of Benton, Victoria Reed (Richard) of Maumelle, Jan Pickels (Jeff) of Savannah, GA, and Brad Glover (Kimberly) of Benton; five grandchildren, Cristin Groce (David), Allen Reed, Erin Pickels, and Carly and Cole Glover; a great-grandson due August 2015; his beloved lab, Molly, and other relatives and friends.
A rosary service will begin at 6:00 p.m. Monday, April 13, 2015 in the chapel of Roller-Ballard Funeral Home with a time of visitation following until 8:00 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Benton with Rev. Y.C. Irudayaraj officiating. A private family inurnment will follow. Honorary pallbearers are Mike Scallion, Steve Stout, Gary Watson, Roger Barker, Jim Ed Stillwell, Craig Esworthy, and Johnny Whitley.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, Saline Memorial Hospital Hospice House, or the Boys and Girls Club of Saline County.
The family would like to thank the staff at Frensinius Medical including Katherine and Patti, and Shannon and Kristi with Saline Memorial Hospital Hospice.

Kids I have known Morgan almost all of my life.he came with Robert when they were about ten to my house on thier bikes ,also on the dove shoots we had.
