Johnny Max WilliamsI am a Veteran.

of Mountain View, AR

August 20, 1941 - March 31, 2015

Johnny Max Williams passed away March 31, 2015 in Batesville, AR, at the age of 73. Johnny Max was born to the late John Douglas and Julia Ann Williams on August 20, 1941 in Mountain View, AR. He was inducted into the United States Army in 1963 and fought to serve his country in Vietnam.

Johnny Max worked at the infamous ''Knot hole'' wood factory for thirty-three years. He spent his days keeping his yard in pristine condition, reading his western books, and working in his wood shop. Johnny Max enjoyed the simple life, loved his family and neighbors and always looked out for their well-being.

Johnny Max was saved at the age of twelve during a Revival service at the White Water Missionary Baptist Church. Though he never joined a church, he believed the Baptist Doctrine, and was never ashamed to give his testimony of his faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

Johnny Max is survived by his sister Madaline Carolyn and husband Roy Dean Pitts; three nephews, Dwayne, Barry, and Daryl Pitts, all of Mountain View, AR., two great nephews and four great nieces.

A visitation will take place on Thursday, April 2, 2015, from 6-8PM at Roller Coffman Chapel in Mountain View, Arkansas. Funeral services will take place on Friday, April 3, 2015, 10:00AM, at Roller Coffman Chapel in Mountain View, Arkansas with Brother Gary Ragland officiating.
