This morning, in remembering your dad, it dawned on me that I never heard him refer only to himself. I'm sure that he must have, but all I can remember is "we thought", "we want", "we believe," "we went". Your parents had one of those amazing marriages, where they lived for each other. It's hard to both work and live together, and they made that work. In that sense, they lived truly inspirational lives. You're in my thoughts, Shelby. You always are. You always will be. I'm so, so sorry for the loss of your dad--sorry for you all and sorry for our community. They gave a great deal. Love, Ms. G.

Lanie, Laurie, and Tommy
We are so very sorry for you in the loss of your mother and father - - all within a week.
Still, it is not a bad time. Remember the great number of years they shared and the wonderful times of just being together. Remember that they had so many, many friends, and the love they had for the community, and the community for them.
But the immediate past period has been phyically difficult for them - - - So, in a way, is it not wonderfull, that they will feel no more pain or discomfort. Rather they are now together in Heaven. both at the same time. Neither had to wait.

And, of course our condolenses to Linda and James Brasel, their best friends.

Lanie, Tommy, Laurie and family,
I am just so sorry to hear about the loss of your Dad. I worked close with him during our days at West Helena S&L. He never failed to speak when we saw each other and I enjoyed talking to him when we visited. The devotion he had to your Mom in these last years , I will always remember. That is a true testament as to the love each one had for the other, as well as his love for his family. I will continue to keep you in my prayers.

Bobby, the family of Frances and Watson, it makes my heart hurt to think of the pain you have to have both of them go so close together. But think of the rejoicing in heaven, two people togather again. I hope you have some peace when you think of them together. God bless and have comfort in the days to come.

Two wonderful additions to Heaven's Glory have been made in the past few days - my precious aunt, Francis Light and one of the finest men I've ever known, her husband and my uncle, Watson. I remember the day of their wedding when I was 6 years old, my first wedding. What a fine and beautiful couple! It is only fitting that Aunt Francis did not have to spend much time in Heaven without Uncle Watson: together in marriage for 62 years and now joined with Jesus and those who've gone before them forever. Our prayers for each of their family members. We know you'll miss them but find comfort in our Lord Jesus, knowing He has prepared them - and His Father's House - for this glorious time. We love you all, Dennis and Cindy Baw, Sr. Pastor, Glenview Baptist Church, Fort Worth, Tx 76137
