In his retirement, he enjoyed spending time with his family, staying home and watching his favorite TV shows.

Uncle Jerry,
You always have and always will reside in a very special place in my heart. We will miss you, mourn you, and cry for you but I promise to try to celebrate you, laugh remembering our good times together, and be happy for you that you are no longer suffering. On the days that we are especially sad and missing you I hope we can remember that this is not good bye but until we meet again.
With all my love!

My Dearest Family, Uncle Jerry is one of my most favorite people in the whole world. He was always there for me, brought such joy to myself and everyone he knew. He loved his family and friends with a passion. He was kind, giving, strong, intelligent, and had such a wonderful silliness that brought smiles to our faces and laughter to our hearts. I know that he had a fabulous reception when he went home to be with our Lord and our family that was waiting for him. My heart is with you all as we grieve and I wish I could be there to celebrate his life with you. All my love Doris
