Hugh N. Beckett

of Paris, AR

November 20, 1955 - March 21, 2015

Hugh N. Beckett, 59, of Magazine, Arkansas was one of God's special children. He was born to Nolan T. and Emma Alice (Ramsey) Beckett in Paris, Arkansas on November 20, 1955 and departed his earthly life in Booneville, Arkansas on March 21, 2015 with his loving sister, Linda, and brother-in-law, Paul, at his side. Although handicapped all his life, he was a loving, happy person. He enjoyed family gatherings and always was excited with a big smile on his face as he watched the younger children at play, sitting on the porch or going for a car ride. He taught us many things through the years, accepting life as it was given to you, love, patience and to appreciate the little things in life, as well as family and all other blessings given to you and for the great love God has always had for you.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Nolan and Emma Alice Beckett; two brothers, Thomas James and Bobby Frank Beckett and one brother-in-law, Eddie Wilson.

He is survived by one brother, Johnny Beckett and wife Shirley of Magazine; two sisters, Linda Yarborough and husband Paul of Magazine and Martha Wilson of Fort Smith, Arkansas; six nieces and nephews; P.J. Yarborough and son Ryan of Magazine, Teresa Williamson and husband Ricky of Magazine, Mark Wilson of Paris, Deborah Gooch and husband David of Fort Smith, Karen Allen and husband Anthony of Roland, Oklahoma and Joni Wilson of Fort Smith; ten great nieces and nephews, nine great-great nieces and nephews and numerous other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at Roller Funeral Home Chapel in Paris.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at Roller Funeral Home Chapel in Paris with burial following in Corley Cemetery in Paris under the direction of Roller Funeral Home.

Linda,

I know you and Paul took very good care of your brother thru the years. One day you will see him again in Heaven. When you do, he will say he can walk and talk as good as you can now.

I know it is hard to give them up, but he is in a better place. He is in God's care.
