Garrett Wesley Yeager, 21, of Batesville died Monday, March 16, 2015, at his residence.
Born December 14, 1993, in Newport, he was the son of Brian Yeager and Holly Stroud Vinson.
Garrett was a beloved father, son, grandson and brother. His greatest joy was spending time with his daughter, family and extended family. Garrett enjoyed living life to its fullest. He loved deer hunting, fishing and all sorts of outdoor activities. He was an avid Razorback fan and in high school, he was an accomplished athlete. At Batesville and Southside High Schools, he played baseball and football. In his free time, he rode bulls. Garrett followed NASCAR since childhood. Through the years, he and his father attended races at Talladega International Speedway in Talladega, Alabama. Family vacations were always a highlight, especially those spent on the beach at Panama City Beach, Florida. He was a member of the 2012 graduating class at Southside High School. He was employed at Bad Boy Mowers and was a member of Believers Community Church in Batesville.
Garrett is survived by his father, Brian Yeager and his wife, Tanya, of Batesville; his mother, Holly Vinson and her husband, Tony, of Batesville; a daughter, Londyn Elizabeth Yeager and significant other, Lauren Elizabeth Wagster, both of Batesville; two sisters, Bethanie Sharp and Reagen Yeager, both of Batesville; three brothers, Braxton Yeager of Newark, Tanner Vinson of Batesville and Hunter Vinson of Magness. He is also survived by his grandparents: Patsy Roath of Batesville, Andy Yeager of Batesville, Pam Lawrence of Melbourne, Richard Penn of Melbourne, Sharon Thomas of Cabot, Tommy and Brenda Thomas of Salado and Diane and Dean Guthery of Newark; great-grandparents: Pat and Ruby Patterson of Batesville, Cody and Patsy Thomas of Salado, Gladys Lawrence of Melbourne and Tom and Mary Trice Penn of Cave City; and many cousins, aunts and uncles; and a nephew, Slade Vinson.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Jake Roath, Larry Stroud and Paul Vinson; several great-grandparents; and a cousin, Hunter Blake Gambill.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 21, 2015, at Believers Community Church in Batesville with Bro. David Insell and Bro. Joe Insell officiating. Music will be provided by Chris and Angie Insell.
Burial will be in Egner Cemetery at Salado under the direction of Roller-Crouch Funeral Home of Batesville.
Pallbearers will be Jake Russell, Justin Smithee, Storm Tipton, Anttwion Burks, Chris Insell and Eric Sessums.
Honorary pallbearers are the Southside High School Graduating Class of 2012.
Visitation is from 5:00-8:00 p.m., Friday, March 20, 2015, at Roller-Crouch Funeral Home.

We are so sorry hear about your losing this young man. I never met him. He looks so much like his grandfather, Larry, my first cousin, that it is startling. Our heartfelt condolences to all of the family, especially to Holly his mother. We haven't seen Holly since she was very young herself. Our Stroud family in Arkansas is a strong and proud family. Our child should never go before us. For those of us who have experienced it, there are no words. Garrett was definitely one of a kind...that infectious smile, those dimples, beautiful blonde, curly hair, and most of all, his sweet and friendly personality. I loved him so much!
