Mrs. Janice (Jan) Ruth Vaught, 71, of Clarksville, passed away March 15, 2015, in Jacksonville, AR. She was born in Clarksville, AR on July 2, 1943 to James H. and Lois EttaLee Harrison Cameron.
Jan is a former employee of Singer and Greenville Tube. Her passion was working outside, riding four-wheelers, and camping. Her sister Donna would like to say that she loved her sister very much and God has His hands full. And that it was an honor to care for her. Sister Lois says that she and Jan walked many miles together and that she taught her how to live and die with dignity. It was an honor to love and care for Jan. A special thanks to Lois, Donna and Regina for all the special care you gave to mom and our family. Mom's most famous words: Just One More Time.
Mrs.Vaught is preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Zachary Hargraves; siblings, Archie Cameron of Lafayette, LA, Rod Cameron of Goshen, AR, Carol Schanbeck of Abilene, TX, Ruby Marie Cameron of Clarksville. She is survived by her special friend, Jimmy Vaught; daughters, Janet and Burchie Lewis of Dover, AR, Kim Baker of Clarksville; sons, Greg Baker and friend Gail Lee of Pottsville, AR, Gary and Cheri Baker of Clarksville, AR; siblings, Emma Jean Havenor of Lamar, Jack Cameron of Roseland, LA, Lois and David Brotherton of Jacksonville, AR, Allen and Becky Cameron of Grant City, MO, Donna Cameron of Clarksville, Debbie and Robert Donohew of Linciln, AR; grandchildren, Tray Hargraves, Scotty Baker, Jared Guinnip, Cidney Baker, Camella Robbins; step granddaughters, Sarah Huffman and Stephanie Dalton; great grand daughter Millie Guinnip and step great-granchildren, Alainah, Damian and Malakai
There will be a private family memorial at a later date.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Children's Hospital, St. Jude, Veteran's Association.

So sorry to learn of your loss. First met Jan in 1977, a very nice hard working lady I believe I ever met.
In memory of a remarkable woman, I admired Jan very much for her tenacity, big heart and hard work. She will live in my heart always. Prayers for those she left behind. May God hold each of you in his loving arms.

Jan was our neighbor of 18 plus years. She was the hardest working individual I have ever met. We love and will miss her.
