Glenda Charlene (DeLoach) Richmond, age 77 of Marshall, Arkansas passed from this life on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at Highland Court Rehabilitation and Resident Care Facility in Marshall, Arkansas. She was born in Lepanto, Arkansas on July 13, 1937 to Henry Arnold DeLoach and Cleda (Mock) DeLoach.
Glenda worked and served alongside her husband in ministry for the Church of God for 37 years and the last 15 years for the Assemblies of God. Her service as a Pastor's wife was one filled with love and compassion. She loved children and enjoyed working with the youth. She taught Sunday school for many years. Glenda loved people and they were often drawn to her soft, sweet spirit. She was a loving, caring soul, whose presence will be greatly missed by those close to her.
Glenda is preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Columbus Richmond of Marshall; two sons, David Richmond and wife Betty Jo of Little Rock and John Richmond of Marshall; two grandchildren, Morgan and Ethan Richmond of Searcy; one sister, Jane Cooper and husband George of Buffalo, TX; two nephews, Clay and Jeffery Cooper; and many other family and friends who will also mourn her passing.
Funeral services for Glenda will be 2:00 PM Saturday, February 14, 2015 at Marshall Assembly of God Church with Bro. Phillip Clark, Bro. Jerry Northam and Bro. Sam Horton officiating. Visitation will be 6:00 till 8:00 PM Friday, February 13, 2015 Roller-Coffman Chapel in Marshall. Burial will be in Marshall Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Brent Clark, B.J. Rea, Phillip Turner, Skip Armes, Brian Ragland and Brandon McAllister. Honorary pallbearers will be her nephews, Clay and Jeff Cooper and the staff and administration of Highland Court.

I didn't have the privilege of meeting Glenda. But if she was anything like David she was a awesome woman. I am so sorry for your loss. I will be praying for you and your family. God knows your hurt. I do to as I have lost both of mine. I know time will heal it all.we never forget those love ones. But the pain does get easier.

I will always remember your mother when I went to see my grandmother in the nursing home she was across the hall from Ruth' Snow room
