Susan Rita Stephens of Arlington, Tennessee died February 4, 2015 in Memphis, Tennessee due to complications from lung cancer. She was 78.

Miss Stephens was born July 20, 1936 in Helena, Arkansas to the late Walter and Lucille Stephens. She was the youngest of thirteen children. She retired from South Central Bell after 30 years of service.

Miss Stephens is survived by her loyal friend, Carlene Ealey; her brother, Douglas Stephens of Bartlett, Tennessee and four generations of nieces and nephews, too many to list.

Miss Stephens was a dog and animal lover. Eight dogs were faithful companions during her adult life.

Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until 12 noon Saturday, February 7, 2015 at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in West Helena, Arkansas. A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday afternoon at Maple Hill Cemetery in Helena. Dr. Don Montgomery will officiate.
