William P. ''Bill'' Tingle, Sr., age 89, of West Helena, Arkansas passed away Friday, January 30, 2015 at his home. Mr. Tingle was born November 16, 1925 at Red Hill, Mississippi to the late Columbus Franklin Tingle and the late Willie Kirkland Tingle.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Patricia Hollowell Tingle; one son, William P. ''Bill'' Tingle, Jr. (Stephanie) of New Augusta, Mississippi; one daughter, Peggy Tingle Hall of New Augusta; five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; one sister, Myrtie McDonald of Gold Canyon, Arizona; one brother, Elton Ray Tingle of Tucson, Arizona; one brother-in-law and two sisters-in-law.
He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and five sisters.
A service for Bill Tingle, Sr. will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, February 2, 2015 at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home. Visitation will be Sunday evening from 4:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m. at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Park in West Helena. Services will be officiated by Reverend Burl Lloyd and Reverend Richard Dickenson.
Pallbearers are Jay Hollowell, Don A. Medlin, Byron Medlin, Jerry Lawson, Walter Morris, Jr., Clark Medlin, Clint Kirby and Doug Smith.
Services will be directed by Roller-Citizens Funeral Home, West Helena, (870) 572-2571.
