Donny, Temple, Candy, April and Jim's other loved ones.

I am still remembering all of you as the days pass. The celebration of his life was wonderful, humorous, and a sweet farewell. He probably was amazed of those that attended his funeral to pay their respects and to add comfort to his family. It was a joyous time for me to say I knew Jim. Donnie came to me today to show me the picture you posted of your Dad online. He enjoyed you sharing it, Temple. Please know that we are remembering all of you in prayer as you gather strength to adjust to a new life, a new beginning, but with wonderful memories of Jim and the things he taught you. It will be such a comfort for you to recall things he said and did. I know because I have lost both of my parents and I still recall with joy some of their remarks and lessons they left for me to continue on. Love to all of you. Donnie and Chris Shoemake.

Dear Lancaster Family,
I was so sorry to learn of Mr. Jim's passing. Dana and I continue to pray for comfort, peace, and strength as you pass through these difficult days. I will always Mr. Jim as a man who loved God, his family, and his church first and most. It's obvious, as I think of each of you and your Christian witness, that Mr. Jim left a legacy of eternal value. I'm sure he heard those words we all long to hear as we cross over to eternal life, "Well done, good and faithful servant."

We wish to extend our condolences to the family at this time. May you be comforted by the promise of the resurrection and the knowledge that soon death will be no more and never again will we have to bury our loved ones. God makes this wonderful promise to is at Isaiah 25:8 where it states that he will "swallow up death forever." I hope you find solace in these words.

I remember James Lancsster as Coach. I always liked him as a coach and a teacher. He will be missed. I used to run into Coach in West Memphis and he never forgot me. He always knew my name. In his classroom, he had so many sayings that made you laugh. My prayers are with his family.
