Mr. Curtis Yarbrough, 81, of Hector, AR passed away Tuesday, December 23, 2014 in Hattieville, AR. He was born June 20, 1933 in Yale, AR to Thomas and Pearl (Stamps) Yarbrough.
Mr. Yarbrough served in the United States Army during the Korean War. Curtis enjoyed fishing and woodworking.
Mr. Yarbrough is preceded in death by his wife, Alice Ann (Kraus) Yarbrough and wife, Earleene (Nigh) Yarbrough; brother, Cletus Yarbrough; step-grandson, Christopher Taylor. He is survived by his daughter, Brenda and Rodney Edwards of Hattieville; sons, Gary and Nancy Yarbrough of Dover, Larry and Karen Yarbrough of Hagarville; step-daughters, Loni and Ralph Taylor of Hector, Paula and Mike Ross of Conway, Lori and Jeffery Price of Dover; sisters, Aleta Mullins of Texarkana, AR, Olene Angle of St. Louis, MO, Sharon Hicks of Aztec, N.M, Loeta Venable of Oklahoma City, OK; sister-in-law, Barbara Yarbrough of Winston, OR; brothers, Olen of Clarksville, Clois of Dover, OK, Jerry of Clarksville; grandchildren, Zachary Yarbrough, Joshua Yarbrough, Katrina Noll; step-grandchildren, Nathan Seward, Travis Seward, Logan Edwards, James Reves, Michael Farney, Renee Boley, Cassie Watts, Brandon Ross, Brad Ross; four great grandchildren; fourteen step-great grandchildren; special friend, Jesse Short of Atkins, AR; numerous nieces and nephews.

Mr. Yarbrough's memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 28, 2014 at Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Roy Chisum officiating. Private burial will follow in Woodland Cemetery.

I was sorry to hear of Curtis Death. I knew him but not as well as some of the other brothers. I know he was a good man.
There is a happy get together in Heaven this week. He will be missed.
Hope all is well with the friends and family of Curtis. I know it is inevitable, but I hate to see our older generations pass. He will be missed! I will try to make it, but at this late i may not be able to pull it off.
