Mrs. Betty Jo Kinder, 69, of London, AR passed away Friday, Nov. 28, 2014. She was born Sept. 21, 1945, in Shaw, Mississippi to Garvin and Elsie (Cole) Strickland.
She married Dale Kinder in Booneville, AR on April 25, 1970, and they made their home in Traskwood, AR for over 30 years.
Mrs. Kinder is preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, two brothers; and one granddaughter, Cassie.
She is survived by her husband, Dale Kinder of London, AR; daughters, Carla (David) McCorkle of Conway, AR, Kimberly (Steve) Sherrell of Benton, AR, and Dayla (Johnathan) Warner of Traskwood, AR; brothers, Bill, William, J.W. and Bobby Strickland; grandchildren, Dustin McCorkle, Clayton McCorkle, Ryan Sherrell, Benjamin Sherrell, Lily Sherrell and Matthew Warner.
A memorial service will be held in her honor at 321 River St. in Benton, AR on Saturday, December 6, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Arkansas Hospice in Russellville, AR., www.arkansashospice.org. Betty was a dear friend. Loving, giving, always thinking of others. She will truly be missed. I still find myself wanting to walk across the yard to see her. Dayla, Carla, Kim, I send my condolences.
