Claydene Martin, 87, of Conway, went to be with the Lord, Saturday October 18, 2014. She was born December 6, 1926 in Elk City, OK to the late M. Clay Hogan and Nancy (Stover) Hogan. Claydene was also preceded in death by her son, Donald James Martin, four brothers, Aubrey Hogan, Oscar Hogan, Uriel Hogan, and Lee Hogan, and two sisters, Lola Mae McMoran and Bonnie Padgett.
Claydene was of the Baptist faith and a homemaker. She enjoyed taking care of her flowers, listening to gospel music, and working crossword puzzles. Claydene was a very happy person who had a unique sense of humor and was always fun to be around and loved her children dearly.
Claydene is survived by her daughter, Lynette Karen Martin of Conway, AR, her son, Roger David Martin and wife Lisa of New Orleans, LA, four grandchildren, Wesley, Elizabeth, Amy, and Evan Martin and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are 3:00 p.m. Thursday, October 23, 2014 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home, Conway(501) 327-7727, with Jack Bean officiating. Burial will follow at Stone Cemetery at Cadron Ridge. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
