Jo Ann and I go away back. She and I became good friends when I was in nurses sch. at SVI. We attended the same church and she knew friends of mine from Boone Co. I think of her often. Hurbert, please let me know where Jerry is here in Harrison. I would like to visit him. He was always with Jo Ann and me when we would go get a coke. I know she will be missed by many. With my love, Ida Ellen Sims Edwards 870-741-9706
To Jo Ann's dear ones, I am so saddened by Jo Ann's passing that I can only imagine the sense of loss her family and close friends feel. I graduated with her, and we have kept in touch through class reunions and our encounters at the beauty shop. I will miss her million-dollar smile and her warmth, which lit up the room. To all the others who've left condolences here, thank you for sharing so eloquently your loving memories of Jo Ann.
So sorry to hear about Ms. Reed. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.
So sorry to hear of Jo Ann's passing. We were friends and worked together at Air Products for many years. She was a wonderful person and I will really miss her.
Wishing you all the best and remembering Jo Ann fondly.

Sorry for your loss, you and Jerry are in our prayers.
Jo Ann was like a sister to me. I first knew Jo Ann through my brother. They were always together and she fit right in with us. I was shocked when I heard of her passing. Knowing I won't hear her infectious laugh or the words "Now James" anymore.
I didn't know Ms. Reed personally, nevertheless, I join her 56 ckassmates, in mourning her death, may she sleep peacefully in our Lord's arms forever.
We were so sorry hear that Jo Ann had passed away. She was such a joy to be around. I know she will be missed.
George and Lisa Lassiter and family.
I met No Ann & her brother Jerry back when I was a child. We attended 10th & Schiller church of Christ. She was always so happy & made everyone else happy. I always thought she was so tall.
Later in life a little lady stopped me in the hall where I work. She called out my name & I replied in puzzlement. When she told me who she was, I was shocked. I told her she had shrunken. She informed me that I had grown up. We laughed & picked up where we had stopped. She still made me so happy.
Sorry to hear of her passing.
Saddened to learn of
Jo Ann's passing. Prayers
For her family.
I was very sorry to learn of Jo Ann's death. She was a LRCHS classmate of mine. Jo Ann was always cheerful and interested in others. The girls in our class have really missed her at our gatherings. We will remember her with fondness.
So touched by your loss. She was always a ray of sunshine and became a friend to all she met. Through all the years she gathered friends as others would gather flowers. Many will feel her absence.
Jo Ann was one of the dearest, most selfless persons I have ever known and I've known her since we were young children. I can't even put into words the loss I feel. If all of us even had half of Jo Ann's goodness in us, the world would be a much brighter, better place. My deepest heartfelt sympathy goes to Jerry, whom she loved more as her son than as her brother, and James Roach, whom she loved all her adult life with all her heart. And both of them loved her dearly. They were her world. What a loss!
Jo Ann has been a long time guest of Hair First Class. She will be missed, by everyone. May God be with you, her family and friends, during this time of sorrow. All the Girls at HAIR FIRST CLASS
