Mary Jo Taylor 92, of West, Texas passed away Saturday, October 4, 2014. She was born March 28, 1922 in Clinton, Arkansas to Jess I. and Maggie (Hargis) Smith.
She graduated from Clinton High School. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jess Smith, husband, William Taylor, sisters, Winnie Smith, Maxine Deason, Raye Williams, and Faye Johnson.
She is survived by her daughter Paula Harlin of West, Texas: three grandsons, Terry Harlin,William Harlin, and Joseph Harlin, two great-grandchildren Taylor and Nate Harlin, nieces, Bonnie Tanner, Sherry Cragen, Brenda Nix, and Mary Ann Thurman.
Graveside Service and Burial will be 10:00am Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at Bradley Cemetery.

i am 79 yrs old now i was born across the road from jess smith on hwy 65 n 1 mile north of town his home is now the rock shop across from the greenhouse owned by bob galbraith irember her dad runing the pool hall in town and his brother was our pastor at pee dee baptist chuck smith mary jo taylor was a young girl and i was a baby when we were neighbors a long time ago where did all the years go i still live on hwy 65 n one mile from where i was born
