Ricky Brackett, 52, of Mountain View died October 1, 2014 at Advanced Care Hospital of White County in Searcy, Arkansas. Ricky was born on February 19, 1962 in Heber Springs, Arkansas to Larry and Patsy Teal Brackett.

He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Shannon Rene Brackett of Mountain View, Arkansas; two sons, Christopher Ewing Neal Brackett of Newark, Arkansas and Patrick Cody Neal Brackett of Mountain View, Arkansas; two daughters, Kadie Leann Branscum of Mountain View, Arkansas and Antonia Angela Renea Trammell of Mountain View, Arkansas; father Larry Neal Brackett of Mountain View, Arkansas and Liz Corter of Mountain View, Arkansas whom he loved as his daughter; fifteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild; three nephews, four nieces, a great-nephew and a great-niece; and many many more children through the years that have touched his heart forever.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Patsy Teal Brackett and one sister, Arlene Pitts.

Rick loved his family unconditionally. He enjoyed spending time with his wife and children, but he would take a brief second with one of the grandkids over anyone or anything. He loved to hunt and fish. Rick has touched many lives over the years and will forever and always be a son, nephew, brother, uncle, friend, dad, husband and Pop.

A memorial service will take place on Monday, October 6, 2014, at Soul's Harbor Church in Mountain View, Arkansas beginning at 11:00AM with Brother Tim Clark officiating.
