Hi Jewell & Family

Joanie & I are very sorry to hear of Milton's passing.

One summer day, in the mid to late forties, my dad and I were visiting my grandparents and my dad, Milton, and I and one or two others decided to go fishing on Cove Lake. We rented two row boats and rowed out to an area that Milton thought might be a good spot. Of the five or so of us Milton was the only one that caught a fish.

Milton always seemed to me to be quite wise.

When we got back to where we had rented the boats we went inside the lodge/store that was there and bought Orange Crush to drink. That was the best soft drink I had ever had.

Love

Milton and Jewell were always so helpful and caring to my mother, Lula Smith. He was our neighbors just across the street and was very caring and helpful . Many wonderful memories of Milton through the years. My sister, Dottie, joins with Marilyn and me in extending our prayers and condolence to the family.

He said he was going to be gone one of these days and now he has up and done it!!!!! lol There are not enough words to describe Milton or my friendship with him. I will truly miss him. He was quite the mischievous person. The more he could joke with you the better he like it. The first time I met him he was wearing a dress at Sue and Roy's house at a church Halloween party!!!! Never forget that. He was really very pretty!!! He wouldn't talk so that no one would know who he was. He was so funny until he had to go to the bathroom!!! You all were so blessed to have him around for 90 plus years! Treasurer those memories, because he will not be forgotten! Special prayers for all of you!!!!
