Hanserd Zellon House, age 92, of Olathe, Kansas died Friday, September 5, 2014 at his home in Olathe, Kansas. He was born February 20, 1922 to William Joe House and Hannah Rose House.
He was a veteran of the United States Navy. He served in WWII.
He married Iona Florence Gammill. The couple lived in Olathe, Kansas. They enjoyed helping with the community youth. Hanserd coached the youth baseball and softball teams for many years. He retired from the FHA.
Survivors are sister Alma House Martin of Onia, AR. and many family members. He had many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
His request was to have burial at the Farris Cemetery. He was preceded in death by his wife, Florene House, his parents, and several family members. Many of his family members are buried at the Farris Cemetery.
A visitation will take place on Tuesday, September 9, 2014, from 6-8PM at Roller Coffman Chapel in Mountain View, Arkansas. Graveside services will take place on Wednesday, September 10, 2014, 10:00AM at Farris Cemetery in Onia, Arkansas with Brother Junior Barham officiating.
Pallbearers are Randy Martin, Gary Martin, Luke Treat, Mark Treat, Dennis Treat, and Sybil Martin.
