Oh Barb, I am so sorry to hear this. I spoke to him several times about diabetes. It isn't supposed to be this way. I lost my brother Chick to diabetes and my 24 year old son is also type 1... It is just so hard.. You are in my prayers.
Jerry, you were a good friend to me. From the first time we met we clicked and instantly became good friends. I'm sorry that I turned my back on you after the "incident" that let's just say blew up in your face. I felt bad for you but at the same time I blamed you for my getting in trouble after the fact. consequently I was never really there for you again as a good friend should have been and for this I am truly sorry and hope that we meet once again on the other side in paradise and renew our friendship back to the days when all we cared about was having fun. I know that you remember my cousin Jill DeBate who would come visit the both of us while we were living in Ozark she was extremely saddened and disheartened, as was I, to hear that you had left this world and those who cared for you way too soon. Jill and I both miss you and I know she looks forward to watching us run toward one another and embracing as eternal friends.
So sorry. My prayers are with yall

Barbara & Family,
I was so sorry to learn on Friday night of Jerry's home going to be with Jesus. I know it must have been a glad Reunion in Heaven, with some of our other family who have already gone home to their HEAVENLY REWARD. Yes, I know it has left a deep hole in the hearts of the family here, but I'm always reminded of the Scripture in 2nd Corinthians Chapter 5 Verse 9, To be absent from the body, is to be present with The Lord. I am praying that God will just wrap all of you in His Arms and give Love, Comfort & Strength through this. I know He will if you just lean on Him and take Comfort in knowing He cares about your hurts and pain. Barbara you are most welcome to call me if you need someone to talk to, or come and visit anytime would be great. Love you my Sweet Cousin!

And God himself will be with them. And he will woipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry, nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away"
