Mrs. Florence Arlene Clayborn, 85 of Clarksville, passed away Friday August 22, 2014 in Lamar, Arkansas. She was born January 5, 1929 in Lamar, Arkansas to Virgil and Dora Belle (Tarix) Cowell.
Mrs. Florence was a Homemaker, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She loved taking care of her family, and will be missed dearly by her family and friends.
Mrs. Clayborn is preceded in death by her Parents; Husband Ray Clayborn; four Brothers Lindsey Cowell, Leonard Baker, Lester Cowell, Bert Cowell and one Grandson. Mrs. Clayborn is survived by her daughters, Jane Mize and husband Vernon, of Clarksville, AR, Judy Clayborn of Lamar, AR, Susan Barr and husband Dan of Cecil, AR, Lynn Cowell of Lamar, AR, Debbie Climer and husband Gary of Dover, AR; Sons Ray Junior Clark and wife Shirley. of Ozone, AR, Alan Clayborn of Lamar, AR; nineteen Grandchildren; twenty-eight Great-grandchildren; one Brother William Leon Cowell of Hammond, LA and one sister Armola Collins of Clarksville, AR.
Visitation will be Wednesday August 27, 2014 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Roller-Cox Funeral Home. Mrs. Florence's Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 28, 2014 at Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel. Burial to be in the Lamar Cemetery with her grandsons Kevin Mize, Jeff Mize, Aaron Mize, Wesley Fetters, Dustin Fetters, Trevor Mize, Andy Chambliss, and Carson Arcia serving as pallbearers. Following the service the family will meet at the Lamar community building for a luncheon.

Grandma will deeply missed by so many people. She was a beautiful soul with so much spunk and wonderful stories to tell. She made the best biscuits and gravy and would make you cake just because you came by. I am truly blessed to have had the times we had.
