So sorry to hear of George's passing. I worked with him at the courthouse and he was always keeping us in stitches and after he left he would bring us cucumbers from his garden. He was missed after he left the courthouse and is sorely missed now.
Dear Linda,
I'm so very sorry about losing George. He has always been a sweet memory in my family. He delivered my mom's engagement ring from dad in 1953!! He was a big as a mountain to me as a kid running in to Peel post office. Then years later at Harrison Nursing Center, I got to work with the love of his life. He was authentic, humorous and always kind of slap happy. I enjoyed knowing him and can't imagine how deep a loss this is for you and the family. I am reminded of God's mercy and comfort. I pray you will have the strength and peace to face the coming days. If there is anything I can help you with, please let me know!! Love & prayers, Nancy Harris, Rosanna Blansett & Janet M Harris
Sad to hear this, wish I could have came and visited again! I always remembered coming when I was little! He will be greatly missed!
Aunt Linda... We will miss Uncle George a great deal he was a very special man (they broke the mold)!!! He was a man of great character, proud
to be an American, served our country with dignity, honor & pride, always honest and very proud of his family… We all know he loved his RED very much!!! We will always keep him in our thoughts & prayers, talk of him often as we always have... Just know that we are always a phone call away!!!
