Janet D. Keech, 74, of Mountain View, Arkansas went to be with her Lord and Saviour on Sunday, July 13, 2014. Janet was born on January 9, 1940, in Evening Shade, Arkansas to the late Claude and Dolly (Kent) Huffmaster. Janet loved to play and sing at the Gospel Opera; and was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Mountain View, Arkansas. In addition to playing and singing she made many CD's that she loved to share freely with others.
Janet is survived by her husband of 58 years, Curtis Keech of the home; two sons, Randy Keech and wife Keitha of Mountain View, Arkansas, Curtis Keech, Jr. and wife Carolyn of Southaven, Mississippi; one daughter, Nancy Holyfield of Salem, Arkansas; three brothers, Ken, Jack, and Danny Huffmaster; and one sister, Faye Kuckenbaker; twelve grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren, along with a host of nieces and nephews.
Janet was preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Dolly (Kent) Huffmaster; two sisters, and one brother.
A visitation will take place on Thursday, July 17, 2014 from 10-11 AM at the First Assembly of God (The Dome Church) in Mountain View, Arkansas. Funeral services will follow the visitation beginning at 11:00 AM with Rev. Bobby Ragan officiating. A graveside service will take place on Thursday, July 17, 2014 beginning at 3:00PM at Evening Shade-Sharp County Cemetery in Evening Shade, Arkansas.
Pallbearers are David Huffmaster, Daniel Huffmaster, David L. Huffmaster, Danny L. Huffmaster, Aaron Keech, Dan Kent, Nick Seccombe, David Holyfield, and Adam Keech.
Janet was one of my all time favorite people. She was a great musician and wife. My prayers go out to her family!
