Jewell Elizabeth (Duggan) McFatter, 87, of Mountain View, Arkansas passed away on July 12, 2014 in Fairfield Bay, Arkansas. She was born on May 3, 1927 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Jessie Elizabeth (Jenkinson) Duggan and Reed Frank Duggan who preceded her in death.
She was also preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, John T. McFatter, and one grandson, Michael L. Kuykendall.
She is survived by two sons, Frank (Audrey) McFatter of Sherwood, Arkansas, and James McFatter of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; one daughter, Karen (Randall) Kuykendall of Mountain View, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Lisa and husband Tim Murphy (Lt.Col. U.S.A.F), Tech Sgt. U.S.A.F. Daniel (Christine) McFatter, Klaus (Kerri) Kuykendall, and Kris Kuykendall; three great-grandchildren, Chase Murphy, Emma Murphy, and AbbyGayle McFatter.
Our granny was the dearest, sweetest, soul; and we know that our loss is heaven's gain. She loved her family unconditionally and was a kind person to anyone she met. She was a Christian and it showed. She was a member of the White Water Baptist Church. We will miss her but rejoice in knowing that she is whole, healthy, and happy now. Until we meet again, Mom- We love you and we will miss you.
Visitation will take place on Tuesday, July 15, 2014 from 6-8 PM at Roller Crouch Chapel in Mountain View, Arkansas. The funeral service will take place on Wednesday, July 16, 2014, 2:00 PM at White Water Baptist Church in Mountain View, Arkansas with Bro. Phil Sutton officiating. Interment will be at Flatwoods Cemetery.
Pallbearers are James McFatter, Frank McFatter, Daniel McFatter, Randall Kuykendall, Kris Kuykendall, and Bobby Pierce.
I am sorry for your loss. Granny will be missed by all her family and friends. You are in my prayers.

I Loved this women like my own grandma. She will be missed by many,but never forgotten. All my love to the family.
So sorry to hear of Jewell's passing. But it is to a better life forever. I remember her as a kind and christian lady. Enjoyed going to church with her at Thola, years ago. Will see her again someday!
