Gregory CuppI am a Veteran.

of Harrison, AR

January 13, 1959 - June 25, 2014

Gregory Cupp, age 55, of Harrison, passed away Wednesday, June 25, 2014, at his home. The son of Ben and Geraldine (Messer) Cupp, Greg was born January 13, 1959, in Ephrata, Washington. His father preceded him in death.

Greg's father was in the military and the family traveled extensively. He was a U.S. Army veteran and proudly served his country as a military intelligence linguist. After his years of service, he worked for Alltel and Windstream as a facility provisioner in Harrison, AR.

After his retirement, the family moved to Lead Hill, Arkansas where Greg finished high school. All of the traveling sparked Greg's interest in many things including movies, theatre, comic books, dance, martial arts, books and music. He was an avid reader, moviegoer and a great storyteller. Greg was also there if we wanted to have fun and have a good laugh. If anyone had a problem, Greg was there to assist. He enjoyed building plastic model kits and collecting movie memorabilia and comic books. One of his favorite times of the year was Halloween. Greg would setup several elaborate displays through the years for others to enjoy.

Survivors include his mother, Geraldine Cupp, of Lead Hill; two sons, Brennon and Aaron Cupp, of Springfield, Missouri; his brother and sister-in-law, Jeff and Georgina Cupp, of Lorton, Virginia; and many other relatives and friends.

Graveside service was Wednesday, July 9, 2014, at Maple Leaf Cemetery

Honorary Pallbearers were Gene Call and Missy Johnson

In lieu of flowers, donations are welcome to the local Humane Society
or the American Heart Association.

Greg had such a unique personality and kind heart. I will miss his sense of humor and the way he would hold a straight face when he was really about to bust out laughing. Such a character! He will be missed.
