William Alan Harrison, 60, of Greenbrier, Arkansas passed away June 16, 2014. He was born November 16, 1953, in Conway, Arkansas to the late Willard and Flossie Harrison. He was also preceded in death by his two brothers, Richard and Butch Harrison; and grandson, Christopher Eli Doney.
Alan was a Christian and member of Needs Creek Missionary Baptist Church. He was a wonderful and gentle man who exceeded his role as husband, daddy, granddaddy, brother, and friend.
He is survived by his wife, Jane Elizabeth Penrod Harrison of Greenbrier, Arkansas; daughters, Alli Harrison Doney (Brad) of Imboden, Arkansas, Jayna Harrison Harvison, (Brian) of Greenbrier, Arkansas; son, Kyler Ja Harrison of the home; grandchildren, Ethan, Autumn, Anna, and Addison Doney, Emily, Coby, and Caleb Harvison; sisters, Barbara Weaver (Charles), Linda Benton (Joe); mother-in-law, Myrtle Penrod of Greenbrier, Arkansas; many other family members and loving friends.
Funeral Service will be 10:00 AM Friday, June 20, 2014, at Needs Creek Missionary Baptist Church in Greenbrier with Pastor Myron Milholland, Bro. Brian Harvison, Bro. Patrick Hughs, and Bro. Jim Swinea, officiating. Burial will follow at Needs Creek Church Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 8:00 PM Thursday at the Needs Creek Family Life Center. Pallbearers: Matt Laymon, Chris Laymon, Logan Laymon, Jody Smithson, Brad Doney, Brian Harvison. Honorary Pallbearers: Ethan Doney, Coby Harvison, Caleb Harvison, Kyler Ja Harrison.
Memorials can be made to the Kyler Ja Harrison Educational Fund at any Regions bank.
I am so sorry for your loss. It's so hard to know what to say or do for those you know are hurting. You all are in my thoughts & prayers. I am praying for peace & comfort that only God can provide.

My heart hurts for you deeply. I will be praying for you in the days ahead to have strength and peace. I always had great respect for him and envied your close relationship with him. I was privileged to know him, he lived life well with great faith and love for his family and his community. I rejoice that he is suffering no more and that we know he is home with Jesus. He will be missed greatly. Sorry for your loss my dear friends.

Jane and Family I am so sorry for your family. But I want you to know what an inspiration Alan was to me. I always looked forward to seeing him bringing Kyler to Kiddieville. You could just see the love in his face. God has took home a wonderful man who leaves his legacy in his kids and grandkids. My prayers are with you all.
