Gran was one of the kindest, most generous, and loving people I've ever met. I never walked in her home without feeling welcome and no one ever left hungry. I could, and did, spend hours just talking with her. My children adored her. She was an amazing woman and I loved her with my whole heart. Our loss is definitely heavens gain. I wish I could have been there to say goodbye, but please know that all of you are in my heart and prayers.

I will always have fond memories of Edith.. She was such a help and blessing for us when we needed her the most.. Never a selfish reason for anything she did for us ..The times we were with Burl and Edith were special, playing games, going to Blue Grass festivals and many other fun times. I will always think of Edith with fond memories..For all the family , you are in my thoughts and prayers..

Prayers are with you at this great time of loss. We lived next door to Edith on West Rush when we moved to Harrison and she was a great neighbor and friend to my mother Lela Hayes. We all spent many hours playing together would love to see all of you.
