I knew her through Maxine Coble, my cousin. I know that she was a wonderful lady and loved by her family. I saw her at Maxine's Birthday party in Conway in January 2013. I know she'll be missed . I'm sending my condolences to the family and to the friends that she touched during her lifetime.

It was our honor to have Mrs. Thomas work with us at Harlan Park Assembly of God Day Care. She was the favorite of so many children that she prepared meals for every day. Incredible lady with such a kind and caring heart. Our lives have been greatly blessed by her spirit of love.

Dear mom:
You were the best mother-in-law a man could ever have. When I heard others make jokes about their mother-in-law, I knew I was blessed! In fact, you were my second mother. You treated me equal to your own son. I am truly blessed for having been a part of your family! I love you!

Aunt Avanell, I love you dearly! You have been one of the most important persons in my life even though you did not know it. I watched you conduct your life in a manner that anyone would be proud of. Your faith in God and commitment to family has always been most impressive. We will miss you but we can smile and be happy for you because we know where you are: you are at last with your husband, uncle Buddy. CONGRADULATIONS!!!
Judy I'm here for you ! Prais God she's in Heaven!!!!

Mrs. Thomas was a second mother to me. I stayed in her home in Conway during the summer of 1972 to start my Master's Degree classes at UCA. She was one of the most kind-hearted, sweet Christian ladies that I have known. I always looked forward to seeing her at our Ross Christmas gatherings with Don and Judy. Harmon and I are saddened at her passing to Heaven, but we know the angels welcomed her home.
