Billy Joe Harderson, 76, of Clarksville, passed peacefully to his Heavenly Home on March 12, 2014. He attended Lighthouse Eagle Tabernacle in Fort Smith, Arkansas, where he was loved and respected. He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Harderson of Clarksville; three sons, Victor Harderson of Oceanside, California, Marty Harderson and wife, Robin, of Hartman and Ken Harderson and wife, Stacy, of Ozone; one daughter, Melba Ritchie and husband, Shawn, of Pottsville; five grandsons and one granddaughter; eight great grandchildren; a stepdaughter, Betty Grisham of Tulsa, Oklahoma; two stepsons, Ricky Chavers and Ricky Jones both of Amarillo, Texas; two brothers, Francis Harderson of West Fork and Stanley Harderson of Oark; and two sisters, Betty Mooney of Salus and Sharon Ellison of Greenland.

Billy, known to his family and friends as ''Joe'', played and sang bluegrass music all his life. He was a member of the bluegrass band ''The Round Mountain Boys'' for five years. He played and sang countless bluegrass shows where he was appreciated and loved by the bluegrass crowds.

He is preceded in death by his first wife, Juanita Carney Harderson; his parents, Isaac Harderson and Iva (Ritchie) Harderson; one brother, Doris Harderson; one sister, Sheila Harderson; and an infant daughter, Sherry Faye Harderson. He leaves behind a legacy of music; he took great pride that he passed on his love of music and his talents to his children.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Friday, March 14, 2014, at Roller-Cox Funeral Home. Joe's graveside service will at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 15, 2014, at Cassville Cemetery, with Bro. Frank Prayter officiating.
