Dear Straub Family,
I feel for your loss in my heart. Your Mother lived a long life and I know you will miss her.

I remember the day your Dad was brought home at his life's end, and I was leaving to go to my Mother's funeral. I remember Philip, John and Albert coming over as I was packing and giving me condolences which meant so much to me. You had a Godly raising and discipline and you exercised that on that day. Barbara , I remember when Anita took lessons from you and hearing your beautiful music that you were playing. Barbara, I remember many times that we met out in the yard and talked about the Lord. I still have the microwave lid that you gave me. I remember Kenny coming over and talking to me as I worked in my flower bed about his two wives and then the loss of Beverly. We talked about our Lord and Savior and had such great spiritual talks. I sat with your Mother while she kept your children. One night it was stormy and John's son was scared so I later gave him my picture of an angel guarding two little children. John said when he was scared after that, he would tell him to look at the picture and the boy got quiet.

I miss seeing you and talking to you so much. I am 81 and cannot walk much as I have advanced neuropathy and muscular degeneration in my right eye. So I have not been able to go to funerals and weddings for several years. But my prayers are with you and may God's Grace be sufficient for healing in all of your family. I love you, Mrs. Jan Threet
