Robbie C. Burkett, 99, of Marianna, Arkansas passed away Monday, February 17, 2014. She was born March 28, 1914 to Tollie Copeland and Eula Hartley.
Services for Robbie Burkett will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at Roller Citizens Funeral Home (870) 295-2528. Burial will follow at Marianna Memorial Park.

I had Mrs. Robbie in the 6th grade and I still have a postcard that she sent me from Alaska the summer of 1963. Mrs. Robbie was a wonderful teacher who was loved by all of her students.

Mrs. Robbie, my 6th grade teacher changed my life. I was so very shy and she insisted I run for Nunnally Student Council President. She worked tirelessly for her candidates. I won and Billy Berry was elected V.P. A dear, loviing woman.

Mrs. Burkett was a wonderful teacher. My late brother was fortunate to have her as a teacher in the 6th grade. He absolutely loved Mrs. Robbie.
She will be missed.

Ms Robbie will be remembered by everyone that ever met her. She was probably the kindest lady I ever knew. Always had a sweet smile and kind word for anyone she came in contact with. Wonderful teacher and mentor to many of us.
