Kensleigh "Kensy-Bug" Joanne Dwight

of Mountain View, AR

August 15, 2013 - February 16, 2014

Kensleigh Joanne Dwight entered into the world and brightened my life on August 15, 2013. A tiny miracle she was 6 pounds 14 ounces of pure joy and inspiration. Even though Kensleigh was diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma, cancer of the soft tissue and muscle, at only 29 days old she never let her troubles steal her smile. She was by far the happiest, most joyful, and determined baby that any mother could ever ask for. My life was blessed just to be able to spend even such a short time with her.
Kensleigh inspired me and brought purpose and direction into my life. Because of her I have grown, become a better person and evolved into a woman. My daughter taught me to never give up, push further, to love even harder, and never let anything steal your joy.
Kensleigh touched the lives of many people because she did not let cancer take away her smile. She lost her battle to cancer and received her angels' wings on Sunday, February 16, 2014 at 11:00AM.
Kensleigh's last days were spent at home surrounded by the people who loved her, those whose loves she touched, and those whose heart she won over during her fight.
Kensleigh leaves behind her loving mother, Heather Watson of Mountain View; father, Daniel Dwight of Dolph; a loving maternal grandmother, Stacy ''NaNa'' Cutrer of Mountain View; Pawpaw, Donnie Moore of Mountain View; paternal grandparents, Gary and Karen Dwight of Dolph; great-grandparents, Danny and Lena Barker of Buffalo City; Uncles Thomas ''Holden'' Bankston of Louisiana, Josef ''JoJo'' Dwight of Dolf; aunts, Melissa Prestenback and Tara Prestenback of Texas.
She was preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Gerald and Joanne Cutrer and cousin, Corey Stafford.
Kensleigh's time on earth may have ended but her story will live on. She touched the lives of many people who followed her journey and became part of the fight. The influence that Kensleigh made on the lives of so many people will forever be felt by the ones she touched. I am forever changed. I am and will always be in her debt for the lessons of faith, love, hope, and determination that she effortlessly exhibited daily. I will never be the same. Kensleigh gave me life and built character in me that I never dreamed could exist. This precious angel brought a change in me. She made me want more, want to try more, to love more, and always keep a smile.
A memorial service is planned to celebrate Kensleigh's life, on Saturday, February 22, 2014 at 2:00PM at Roller Coffman Funeral Home. Pastor Tommy Lee will be officiating the memorial service.
Also thank you to Margaret Sumrall for going above and beyond. Thank you, we love you.

Stacy, you were blessed with this little "Angel" for a very short time.... The Lord gave her wings to fly home to Him - now she is Blessed.
