James Darrell Frost, 78, of Conway, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 2, 2014. He was born on Friday, March 8, 1935 in Bowdon, Georgia, to the late James Curtis and Mildred (Purdue) Frost. He is also preceded in death by an infant brother Willie Joe Frost.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Carolyn Frost; daughter, DeNita Smith; son-in-law, Jody Smith; granddaughter, Evane Smith; son, Darren Frost; daughter-in-law, Cynthia Frost; granddaughter, Christan Frost; and grandson, Connor Frost.
He retired from Warren Sewell Clothing Company of Bremen Georgia.
Pap-paw loved to hunt, fish and ride 4-wheelers. In retirement, he enjoyed his time on Lake Conway and Lake Beaverfork fishing for crappie and bream. He and Charlie (Carolyn) also enjoyed many 4-wheeler rides and picnics in the National Forest above Cleveland Arkansas.
Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and loved his grandchildren beyond belief.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at Bethlehem Cemetery with Brother Freddie Mark Wilcox officiating.
Pallbearers will be Carolyn Frost, DeNita Smith, Jody Smith, Evane Smith, Branden Rook, Darren Frost, Cynthia Frost, Christan Frost, and Connor Frost.

I am so sorry to hear of Darrell's passing. I know how much he'll be missed. His warm smile and contagious laugh always filled the room. I remember him as an avid sportsman. He always made deer hunting a little more interesting! I'm glad he's finally at peace. And I'm sure Heaven is a much better dressed place today! God bless you.
