Where can one start or stop talking about LD...I'm sure by now the Lord has already used one of LD's most often used quotes by saying "My, My, My Now what is the Lord going to do?"
But not to worry, as by now "Poopsie" Raney and Betty Jean Lea are already advising the Lord. As he often said that some people called him LD and others called him Long Distance.
To know LD is to love him and the "lil country gal"(Verda Mae) from the butterbean patch in Cooter, Arkansas surely must have as the day they were getting married, LD took her to a flower shoppe for a bouquet for the wedding and dropped her off so he could go tell his other girlfriend he was getting married...LD forgot and Verda had to call home for a ride to her wedding...God blessed them both.
On behalf of the Raneys and Harrells. we loved them both and all will miss LD.
With love and respect for LD and the family.
Jim Raney
