Dianna Gail Watkins

of Bellefonte, AR

January 28, 1941 - January 23, 2014

Dianna Gail Watkins, age 72, of Bellefonte, died at her home surrounded by family Thursday, January 23, 2014. She was born February 28, 1941, the daughter of Bert and Leatrice (Yearns) Holloway, having still lived within a couple of hundred feet from where she was born.

Dianna was a member of Eagle Heights Baptist Church and had previously attended Bellefonte Baptist Church for 40 years. She enjoyed singing with the choir, and working with the Hand and Foot ministry.

Dianna has been an Avon Lady for 37 years, having been the #1 sales person in the district many times, receiving numerous awards throughout the years. She enjoyed her customers and visiting with each one of them. She and Ralph enjoyed hot
rods and street rods throughout their marriage. They were active in building many of them. They had made trips in their hot rods from Colorado to Knoxville and all over the Southern states. They enjoyed local, regional shows, and certainly
enjoyed the national events. Dianna had claimed one of the hot rods as her own.

Dianna is survived by her husband, Ralph Dale Watkins, of the home; one daughter, Pamela Gail Watkins, of Bellefonte; one sister, Roberta Mae Shawver; a host of other family; and many friends.

Funeral service was Saturday, January 25, 2014, at Eagle Heights Baptist Church, with Bro. Eddie Reed officiating.

Pallbearers were John Watkins, Gary Watkins, Bob Watts, Hoot Simmons, Keith Cornett and Tim Addis.

Honorary pallbearers were the Elizabeth Sunday School Class of Eagle Heights Baptist Church.

Interment was in Maplewood Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to Hospice of the Hills House, PO Box 1927, Harrison, AR 72601; Susan G. Koman for the Cure, P.O. Box 650309, Dallas, TX 75265-0309; or Gideons International, P.O. Box 997, Harrison, AR 72602-0997.

We love you all and we loved Momma Dianna who is now again singing in the choir as she so faithfully did at EHBC, just as Bryan lovingly expressed at choir Wednesday night. May God comfort you and give you peace as your loving EHBC family continues to pray for your family. In God's Love...Beverly and Darlin'
