Olga Dwane Chester, 89, of Paris, Arkansas passed away on Saturday, January 18, 2014 in Paris, Arkansas. He was born on January 28, 1924 to his parents Zachary Pierce and Hattie Mae (Rounsaville) Chester. He was a graduate of the University of Arkansas and was a retired federal employee of the Soil Conservation Service. He was a United States Army Veteran of World War II and a member of First Baptist Church in Paris.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Zachary and Hattie Mae Chester; his first wife, Anita Cox Chester; a son, Danny Dwane Chester; two brothers, Z.P. Chester and Joe Chester and a sister, Marie Pelt.
He is survived by his wife, Ilatrene (Sewell)Titsworth-Chester of Paris; a step-son, Steve Titsworth and wife, Cindy of Paris; two step-daughters, Elaine Wood and Karen Lowe and husband, Monte of Paris; a sister, Lou Smith of Independence, MO; two brothers, C.E. Chester of Hillsborro, OR and Bill Chester of Springdale, AR; eight step grandchildren; eleven step great-grandchildren; a brother-in-law, Douglas and wife, Gail Cox of Evansville, AR and a sister-in-law, Karen Hobbs and husband, Richard of Evansville, AR.
Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at First Baptist Church in Paris with interment at 2:00 P.M. in New Bethel Cemetery at Plainview, AR under the direction of Roller Funeral Home of Paris.
Pallbearers will be Russell Featherston, Bob Porter, Bently Allen, John Paul Wells, Jerry Pelt and Douglas Cox.
Honorary Pallbearers will be his Sunday School Class.

I'm so sorry for your loss! It's times like these we need comfort. God's word can soothe our hearts and minds. The Bible says at Isaiah 25:8 "He will swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces." We look to God through Jesus and his Kingdom to do this. My wife and I hope you find comfort as you endure your loss.
