Charlotte Raye Clark

of Harrison, AR

July 22, 1948 - December 13, 2013

Charlotte Raye Clark, age 65, of Harrison, passed away Friday, December 13, 2013, in Springfield, Missouri. She was born July 22, 1948, in Alpena, Arkansas, the daughter of Ervin Blaine and Winnie Jetton (Garrison) Richardson. Her father preceded her in death.

Charlotte was a member of Faith Assembly of God Church. She was involved in many activities which were always centered on the relationships with people. She loved riding horses, showing horses with her family, and being involved with the Round Up Club where she carried the flags during the annual rodeo and fair parade.

If you ever went to a Goblin event you would see her in the ticket booth or the concession stand. She helped with the hospitality room every year at the Classic basketball games. She loved to participate in sports such as softball until knee injuries prevented her from playing, where she then took over score keeping.

You could find Charlotte where ever children were, working with the Harrison School System at the cafeteria, summer programs, or the youth center. Jerry was always there to back her up, just a few steps behind. She and Jerry have spent 42 years in marriage working, playing, and raising their family. Her love of God and family were foremost in Charlotte's life as she loved Jerry, her children, and her grandchildren.

Charlotte is survived by her loving husband, Jerry Clark, of the home; her mother, Winnie Jetton Richardson; her sons and daughters-in-law, Kory and Ann Clark of Harrison and Kris and Jarva Clark of Parks Rapid, Minnesota; and four grandchildren, Kaileigh Ann Clark, Kameron Bishop Clark, Ethan Kimball Clark and Kaleb Joseph Clark.

She is also survived by her sisters and brother-in-law, Brenda Bell of Green Forest and Denease and Clint Woods of Harrison; her brother and sister-in-law, Blaine and Pam Richardson, of Harrison; a host of nieces and nephews; and many, many dear friends throughout the community.

Visitation was Wednesday, December 18, 2013, at CrossRoads Community Church.

Funeral service was Thursday, December 19, 2013, at CrossRoads Community Church, with Rev. Arlis Thrasher and Rev. Johnny Walters officiating.

Pallbearers were Tommy Tice, Brad Thiel, Matt Urioste, Scott Kernodle, Louis Tate, Chad Marsh, Larry Graddy and John Phillips.

Honorary pallbearers were Dale Hall, Junior High Cafeteria workers, Harrison Round Up Club, all the concession stand workers, Harrison Round Up Club, Cattleman's Assoc and all the medical personnel who helped and took care of Charlotte during the past 2 years.

Interment was in Alpena Cemetery.

The family would like to thank all the people and churches who provided loving support and prayers through Charlotte's journey after her accident. They want to especially thank the Faith Assembly of God and the CrossRoads Community Church family for their help.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made at Community First Bank, Attention: Charlotte Clark Memorial Fund, 200 E. Ridge Avenue, Harrison, AR 72601
