Henry Etta Meyer, 80, of Paris, Arkansas passed away on Saturday, December 7, 2013 in Charleston, Arkansas. She was born January 23, 1933 in Booneville, AR to her parents, Jacob and Bessie (Black) Rasbery. She was retired as a secretary for the Cooperative Extension Office located in the Court House in Paris. She was a member of First Baptist Church and a member of Business and Professional Women's Club.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Jacob and Bessie Rasbery; husband, Alvin J. Meyer; two sisters and one brother.
She is survived by her son, John C. Meyer of Katy, Tx; seven grandchildren, Kristin, Alexa, Joshua, Madison, Olivia, Charlee and Abigail Meyer; four great-grandchildren, Kaylynn, Jackson, Carsyn and Noah Pulley; a niece, Linda Tillery and a nephew, Herman Alfred Bell.
Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at Roller Funeral Home Chapel in Paris.
Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 12, 2013 at Carolan Cemetery in Booneville, AR under the direction of Roller Funeral Home in Paris.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Henry Etta was a good friend to me. She was beautiful inside and out. Her banana pudding was the best I ever had. She was truly an angel.
Sorry for your loss John. You Mother was always such a sweetheart to me. Such a great person. She will be truely missed.
