Saundra Kay Powell, 67, of Paris, Arkansas passed away on Friday, November 8, 2013 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She was born on December 3, 1945 in Paris to her parents Lanthis and Jewel Marie (Hall) Phillips. She was owner and operator of a catering service and affiliated with the Assembly of God Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lanthis and Jewel Marie Phillips and a son, Toby Lee Powell.
She is survived by her two sons, Raymond Alan Powell and wife, Tonya of Paris and Robbie Powell of Paris; a sister, Connie Fox of Booneville; a brother. Allen Phillips of Coal Hill; four grandchildren, Alexis Powell, Dustin Powell, Evan Powell and Kennedy Powell and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at 5:00 P.M., Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at Roller Funeral Home Chapel in Paris. Cremation is under the direction of Roller Funeral Home in Paris.
Raymond and Robbie, I'm so sorry to learn of your mom's passing. She was such a special lady and I loved her dearly. Kay was always so funny and loved to laugh. We'll be praying for you all. Angie & Tim Beers
Sorry to hear of the passing of your mom she was a nice lady I remember her best when I worked at Pants Factory and they ran the lunchroom food service. May God heal your hearts and be with you through these trying days
