I was so shocked to hear the news I could not believe it. We will miss him handing out bulletins and greeting us with a smile and laugh every sunday morning at church. So sorry for your loss, he will be missed. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.
God Bless You
My heart goes out to all of you. I only know Alan, but he is a very kind and thoughtful person. As with my own parents, I know "the acorn doesn't fall far from the tree." So, Alan's qualities came from the person's that raised him. I known I have many of my parents qualities and values as does Alan. Death at some time touches us all. I have often been comforted by the scripture at Revelation 21:4 - "And he (God) will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." I look forward to a time when non of us will suffer the pains (heartache) that death brings.
Again, my heart goes out to you in your time of grief. And you as well as my friend, your son Alan, will be in my thoughts and prayers. "The power beyond what is normal may be God's and not that of ourselves" - 2Cor. 4:7.
We are so sorry for your loss. You and your family are in are prayers.

I knew Billy as Barbara Jane's little brother. He was in my little sister's (Jeanne) class. Jeanne and I are in Gulf Shore, AL at the present. We both wish we could be there for the family. Please know that we are very saddened by the news. We send our love and deepest sympathy to Barb, Bill, sweet mother, Ruby Nell, Betty, children and grandchildren. We contine to keep you in our prayers.
The summer I spent in Rover with Billy, and Uncle Dub and Aunt Ruby were some on fondest memories as a boy.
Working alongside Billy taught me what it was like to be a farm kid. We worked hard but always had a good time. I feel very fortunate to have known him. My heart goes out the family
Bill was a hard-working kid who grew into a fine, responsible family man and leader in his community, even though I still think of my cousin Bill as Barbara Jane's "little brother." I have felt so blessed to have been a part of this family, and my heart goes out to Ruby, Betty and the kids, and Barbara and her family. I know the pain his loss will bring. May the Lord comfort you all and give you strength.
Bill will be greatly missed by all who knew him. I alwasy enjoyed the times he stopped by the office and just chatted for a while. May God comfort each of you during your grieving of your loved one. He was a great man.
Prayers for the family.
We are so sorry for your loss. May you find comfort in your memories and the love you shared. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort; who comforts us in all our affliction so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.
