Helen Janet Dennis, age 92, of Harrison, passed away at Bristol Pointe Nursing and Rehab, Tuesday, March 19, 2013. Mrs. Dennis was born October 6, 1920, in Philadelphia, PA, the daughter of Valentine J. and Helene B. (Kowalski) Deskiewicz, who preceded her in death.
Mrs. Dennis attended Ridgeway Church of Christ. She was a LPN and loved to travel and cook.
She is survived by her daughter, Helen Blean, of Harrison; her sister, Claire Bond; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
No services are planned at this time.
Ciocia Helen, I love you so much--Thank You for being such a BIG part of my childhood--You gave me My 1st Maryland blue crabs--You made me love liver & onions--We went mushroom picking at Bensalem golf course--You took me to my very first bar & gave me my first taste of beer-( I did the same with my niece Caryn)
I had to keep up the tradition. You took me to Seaside and I had my very 1st raw & steamed clams--We took Linda "bummin" she is now in OUR club. You gave me my Sister, Helcha, who taught me how to roller skate and she always had time for me. I am truely Blessed that you are my Ciocia--Thank you for Everything that you did for me & my Family. I will miss you--BUT--I know I will see you again, Heaven sure is Polka Partying right now. When it is my time PLEASE have--Charlina, Goublki, Rusue, pergogi , crabs, liver & onions & Beer --Cruciki and my Family waiting for me. I love you & Miss you--Bummer
ciocia when mom passed away you became my other mom and i will miss you. I know in my hart that your love is still with us and i will see you again when its my time to go home. Give everyone a hug for me.
