sheila and family, so sorry to hear about your mother.I remember going to your house growing up. I always wanted a big family like yours. It's sad we are all losing our parents, but that's the way life is. Your mom lived a good long life. I wish mine could have lived that long. I lost her at age 77. My thoughts are with each and everyone. love and prayers to all.

I will always remember just how Beautiful she has always been... 95 years and was still just as beautiful, like a Movie Star :-) I adopted her as my Granny back when we were all little, cause a great deal of my cousins are her beautiful grandchildren. I pray for you all, how lucky you all are to be blessed with such a wonderful woman as your Mom & Granny :-) I love you all.

So sorry for your loss. Vera will be missed by numerous people. I did not know her personally, only through you Shelia and Lena and other members of the church and she was well thought of to be a very woman of God and a treasured member of Bethel. God bless each family member.

Nicholas family:
I am very saddened by the death of you wonderful mother. I grew up knowning her because I was friends with the Nicholas girls. It just won't be the same knowing that Miss Vera won't be living on 10th Street anymore, but she is in a much better place now. Peace be with you during this most difficult time.
