Carl, my mother was Lucille Hahn who taught with your mother in the Quincy School. She loved long talks with your Mom and kept in touch at Christmas. Your Mom was so proud of you. My thoughts are with you at this sad time.

Our sincere sympathy to Carl & his family. "Mrs. Hamilton" was a special teacher & a very good friend. She was a teacher to David, LaDonna, James, Wesley, & Cynthia Heath. Carl David was named after my husaband David. David mentions often that she was the one to teach him to read. The last time she was in Quincy, we laughed together as I helped her crochet a small afghan. She mentioned often that she could make a basket from half court of our school gym. She will be missed by all her Quincy students.

Even though Mrs. Hamilton moved away many years ago, she has always been close to me in heart and spirit. I had her in the 5th and 6th grades and she nurtured in me the love of reading and the sense of pride in doing my best. My father, Tom Weiskittle had her as a teacher, then myself and then eventually she even taught my children when she subbed. She was a true lady and full of class at all times. She earned your respect with her high expectations and dignity in all matters. She will truly be missed!

Your family has my deepest sympathy. When I hear the word teacher and guide, it stands for my fifth grade teacher Mrs. Hamilton. She was kind, loving and nurturing who made a difference in this world. She always dressed so perfect and smelled of soft perfume. Mrs. Hamilton you are a true angel and may we all meet again someday. RIP

To the family and friends of Juaniece,
Sending condolences and prayers for your loss of a beautiful and classy lady. She was an angel standing in front of her classroom waiting for us kids to greet and teach us. She was my 5th grade teacher ('67 I think), and was kind, patient, and inspirational. I thought the world of her and need to thank her for saving me in 2nd grade (our story), as well as teaching me and so many others with love, kindness and inspiration. We will love and appreciate her forever.

On behalf of the Quincy HS Class of 1958, we extend our deepest sympathy to Mrs. Hamilton's family. Even though Quincy had one of the smallest schools in Logan County, it provided us with a great group of teachers. Mrs. Hamilton was a fine teacher and a good friend.

Dear Carl and family,
I was saddened to hear of your mom's passing although I know she is with the Lord. She was my very favorite teacher and I loved her dearly. I knew that she truly cared for me as her student and that she wanted me to succeed in my studies. Later, as an adult, I used to sit in front of her sometimes at church and I always enjoyed seeing her. She was a positive person and influenced my life in a such a positive way. I was disappointed that I didn't get to attend her birthday party in Quincy a few years ago but I was out of town that weekend. I will pray for you as you cope with the loss of a wonderful mother. Wish I could be there to say goodby to her .
With my love and prayers, Karen Houchin Robson

David, I am so sorry to hear about Juaniece. Ida Ruth had told me that she had had a bad stroke. I haven't seen her since one of the family reunions about 10 yrs ago. She still looked really good then. She was a very nice person, & I hate it that altho we are cousins, I did not get to be around her very much. She & Hoover sure favored alot. I am Lincoln & Edna Berry's granddaughter. Your grandmother Mae was my grandmother's sister. Poodle Berry was my dad. Our thoughts & prayers are with you as you adjust to life without her. She was always so proud of you.
