Opal Inez Andrews, 92 of Paris, Arkansas passed away on January 11, 2013 in Paris. She was born on March 3, 1920 in Coal Hill, Arkansas to her parents Richard and Cena (Burnett) Colvett. She worked in labor and delivery at Smith Hospital in Paris for many years and was always known as the ''Baby Nurse'' and was a member of First Baptist Church in Paris.
Opal is preceded in death by her parents Richard and Cena Colvett and one brother Roy Colvett.
Opal is survived by her son George Andrews III of Madison, Tennessee.
Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Monday, January 14, 2013 at Roller Funeral Home Chapel in Paris with burial in Baxley Cemetery in Paris under the direction of Roller Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church in Paris, 311 E. Main St., Paris, AR 72855.
She will be missed. Rest in peace.
So sorry for your loss. As my mother would tell us (myself and my twin Vickey), we wouldn't be here if not for the dedicated nurses from the Smith Hospital. We were premature babies back in 1958. May you treasure your memories.

I am sorry for your loss. Ninety-two years of life is still much too short. How thankful we are that our grand Creator, Jehovah plans to restore his original purpose and make it possible for all mankind (including our loved ones we have lost in death) to live forever under perfect conditions. (Matthew 6:10; Job 14:14 & 15). Please accept my condolences as you deal with the loss of Mrs. Andrews and contemplate the hope of seeing her once again.
